Georgie Thompson - Georgie Thompson Sky Sports Presenter Arrested In Chelsea

Thompson, who has been the main face of Sky's 24-hour sports channel for 10 years, was pulled over in her black Porsche in Chelsea. A friend of the presenter said Thompson was "utterly devastated" by the arrest, saying, "She held her hands up immediately. She had been at a friend's house for lunch and had a few drinks early on.Georgie stopped drinking after a while and when it was time to go home she figured she would be OK", adding, "She was not staggering around drunk or anything. If she thought she was drunk she would not have driven". It is understood Georgie alerted her Sky bosses of the arrest shortly after being released, but it is not clear whether it will affect her position at the channel. The presenter, a former junior tennis champion, began her career in television as a runner on breakfast show Gmtv.

Thompson, also a regular panellist on comedy sports show 'A League of Their Own' split with Donnelly in Easter following a two-year relationship.
