Georgia May Jagger Is Perfect For Hudson
Georgia May Jagger is a ''living embodiment'' of Hudson.
The 20-year-old model - daughter of Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger and his ex-wife Jerry Hall - has been the face of the denim brand since 2009 and the label's creative director, Ben Taverniti, says she was the ''obvious choice'' to front their 10 -year anniversary campaign.
He said: ''She is a living embodiment of the spirit of Hudson - effortlessly stylish, confident, passionate, edgy, and cool. We have been together the past three years and she was the obvious choice for our 10-year anniversary Hudson Cabaret campaign as we move into the next decade.''
Ben says he was keen for the campaign to reflect the brand's future.
He told vogue.co.uk: ''The last 10 years have been an amazing ride, but the Journey has only begun. We wanted our campaign to celebrate how we felt as we embark into the next decade. Our positioning statement is: 'let yourself go.' We wanted to create a campaign that celebrated self-expression. The cabaret was born in Paris in 1881 and was a place where people felt comfortable - they did not have to stick to the usual rules of society. It was a place where you could go and just celebrate being yourself. We wanted to harness that spirit in our campaign.''
