George Lopez has apologised to Kirstie Alley for comparing her to a pig.
The late-night host came under fire for making jibes about the actress's appearance on Wednesday night (23.02.11) while commenting on her performance on reality show 'Dancing With The Stars'.
On 'Lopez Tonight' he quipped: "She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away. Before the show, she went to the market, and then she had roast beef and this is her going all the way home," before cutting to a squealing pig from a GEICO commercial.
The next day he took to his page on micro-blogging website twitter to say sorry to Kirstie, who recently admitted she is taking part in the ABC show to try and shift some pounds.
George tweeted: "I misjudged the joke. No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie."
However, the former 'Fat Actress' star didn't seem too bothered by the comment, joking on her own twitter page that George would get his comeuppance.
She wrote: "Don't worry about George's comments...just remember what happens to the big bad, drunk woolf...falls in a boiling pot of vodka.Piggy laughs (sic)"
