Gemma Arterton's Make-up Dislike

Gemma Arterton hates wearing make-up.

The 'Tamara Drewe' star - who joined the likes of Kelly Osbourne, Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung at Mulberry's New York Fashion Week show earlier in the week - admitted while she isn't brave enough to go completely natural, she avoids using cosmetics as much as possible.

She explained: "This is just my face. I don't like wearing make-up really. Of course there's a little bit on there - I would have to be very brave completely natural. I try not to wear it as much as I can though."

The 24-year-old actress also revealed she had never attended a fashion week prior to the Mulberry event.

She said: "I have never been to a fashion week before. I was in Toronto and thought I may as well swing by. I love Mulberry because it's a British brand and feel I should support the British brands. Everything I'm wearing is Mulberry, even the shoes."

In terms of her autumn clothing collection, Gemma explained while she'll jump on board this season's faux fur trend, anything "too over the top" doesn't tend to suit her.

She added to Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I have a faux fur big foxy-type jacket which is black and it's gorgeous. It's by Isabel Marant. It think I'll be wearing a lot of oversized jumpers, I've got one with gold patches on the arms. I also really want to get a cape but embellishment and anything too over the top doesn't suit me so I want to keep it simple."
