Injured British rocker Gem Archer will have to wait even longer before he makes his stage comeback after breaking his leg in two places.
The Beady Eye star had a metal pin inserted in his leg following the freak accident, and he will have to wear a cast for at least four months.
It comes just weeks after Archer was hospitalised with severe head trauma, forcing Beady Eye to pull out of a series of concerts.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Gem's on a bad run of luck right now. First the fall down the stairs and now this. He can't even explain how it happened. It was just a freak accident. His leg gave way under him and just went. He's got a double fracture to the tibia and fibula, the two long bones in the lower leg."
Corgan took to Instagram to confirm rumours of new Pumpkins material, saying the first songs could arrive as early as May.
