Gary Oldman Feared For Career After Losing Script

Gary Oldman feared his career was over when he lost his 'The Dark Knight Rises' script.

The 54-year-old actor - who reprises his role as Commissioner Gordon in the third of director Christopher Nolan's Batman movies - was terrified the story would be leaked after he lost it in a hotel but eventually found the document under his bed.

He said: ''II was in a panic for 20 minutes. I thought my career had ended, that I'd be thrown out of showbiz.

''There was paranoia around it as we live in an age with the internet and blogs, so it's understandable.''

Gary went on to explain that he couldn't blame anyone else if The Script - which was colored red to prevent it being photocopied - had gone missing as they were all individually numbered for each cast member.

The veteran actor also admitted he was very impressed by Anne Hathaway's performance as Catwoman in the movie.

He told TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: ''Not to give anything away, Anne Hathaway, she is a Revelation in this film. Boy, she can time a line.''
