Gary Numan Embracing Alcohol After Years Teetotal
British electro-pop pioneer Gary Numan has turned his back on his teetotal lifestyle and now enjoys drinking.
The Cars hitmaker has a mild form of Asperger's syndrome and chose to avoid alcohol as an adult over fears it would exacerbate his medical condition.
However, Numan has now allowed himself to drink - and he is embracing the experience.
He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I'm making up for it now - I really like being drunk, but I hate alcohol. So I'll slam down a triple whiskey and wash it down with coke to get rid of the taste."
