Gary Glitter - Gary Glitter Appears Ready To Hit The Road

Disgraced pop legend Gary Glitter appears to be gearing up to make a major comeback on the road in 2012.
The glam rock icon, real name Paul Gadd, was convicted of possession of child pornography in Britain in 1999 and he was sentenced to four months in prison for the crime. Upon his release, he relocated to Vietnam, where he was arrested and charged with committing obscene acts with children in 2005 and ordered to serve three years behind bars.
He walked free in August, 2008 and returned to his native England and now the Hello, Hello hitmaker is finally eyeing a return to music this autumn (12), according to posts on his newly-launched "official" Twitter.com account.
In them, the self-titled "King of rock & roll" reveals he is setting his sights on a 2012 comeback tour.
The posts, which have yet to be confirmed, read: "London, Bristol and Birminghm (sic) are all semi-confirmed for the tour at the end of the year. I'll confirm more info as it becomes certain... #GlitterTour will be a v (very) small tour. Planned for 20 days in oct/sept later this year. I'll post dates/venues when they are confirmed... I am truly touched at the incredible response i've had over twitter in the past few hours.Thank you to all my fans."
