Gary Coleman's Ex-wife Pained By Choice
Gary Coleman's ex-wife Shannon Price was told by the star 'I love you and my head hurts' before she made her ''most difficult decision'' by turning off his life support.
Gary Coleman's ex-wife says the decision to switch off the star's life support was the hardest she has ever had to make.
Shannon Price was left devastated after the 'Diff'rent Strokes' actor - who died earlier this month from a brain haemorrhage - told her he loved her shortly before he passed away.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "He said, 'I love you and my head hurts.' Those were the last words he said to me because he was in a lot of pain.
"It was the most difficult decision I've ever had to make in my entire life. Seeing Gary in that circumstance. it was best for him to go and not suffer. He was already a vegetable."
Shannon - who was believed to be planning to re-marry the actor - is still unsure about what will happen to Coleman's estate, but knows what the 42-year-old actor would have wanted her to receive.
She said: "He wanted me to have everything."
Coleman will not have a formal funeral, according to Shannon, as it's not what he would have wanted.
Shannon said: "Gary didn't want a funeral and he didn't want a viewing. He didn't want people to see him that way. So, like I said, Gary is my best interest right now so I'm going to do what he wants."
