Robbie Williams could one day rejoin Take That allowing them to perform as a five-piece again, according to Gary Barlow.
The boy band have been hugely successful since their 2006 comeback, with albums Beautiful World and The Circus smashing sales records and tour tickets snapped up in record time.
But even with their popularity as a four-piece, rumours have continued that former member Robbie Williams could at some point return to the band.
Speculation was fuelled when Williams and Barlow were pictured together for the first time in 11 years at a football match earlier this month.
And speaking to Radio 1's Newsbeat programme, Barlow admitted the group were "getting to know [Williams] again", adding that a reunion was a definite possibility.
"As long as we're alive people are going to ask if we're going to get back together," he said. "I do believe we will one day, I just don't know when.
"The five of us were together a lot over the summer and it just felt like we were back in the '90s. I get an email every week from Rob, Mark [Owen] gets one every other week, J [Jason Orange] phones him once a week.
"We're all keeping in touch. It's really fun getting to know him again, I must say. The five of us are rebuilding our friendship, and that's really the only place to start."
Take That's new album The Circus became the fastest-selling record of the year on Monday, shipping some 133,000 copies despite some stores being unable to stock the CD due to distribution problems.
