Beyonce Knowles' favourite designer is Gareth Pugh.

The 'Girls (Who Rule The World)' singer is co-creator of clothing line House of Dereon alongside her mother Tina but admitted she loves clothes by Gareth because they make her waist look "teeny tiny".

She explained: "I love Gareth Pugh, he's amazing. His work is so different. The dramatic shoulder pads make your waist look teeny tiny and it's very structured and graphic and modern. I think the contrast of his garments and my personality is really cool. And I get to dress up and be whatever I want."

Beyonce also insists she is heavily involved in all aspects of design for House of Dereon and claims she can do "a pretty good sketch".

She told more! magazine: "I usually critique. I'll see my designs and say 'I think this looks better that way', but I can do a pretty good sketch."

Beyonce gets inspiration for her clothing line from all different places and says photo shoots are one of her best sources.

She explained: "All the photo shoots I do, I get to wear great clothes months before they come out. I get to see them and touch them and feel them so all of these things inspire my line with my mother."
