Game, Set, Match: Martina Navratilova Leaves Dancing With The Stars
The 55 year-old wound up in the bottom two alongside the singer Gavin Degraw - a fate we wouldn't wish on anyone - on Monday night following performances in the quickstep and the jive and ultimately was voted the weaker of the pair, with the judges unimpressed. Len Goodman called Navratilova's performance too "careful" and "insular" while Bruno Tonioli quipped "My darling, I think that serve went into the net."
Navratilova blamed herself for her exit, citing her jive as the reason she went. "I gave it everything I had, but I blew it yesterday and it cost me, unfortunately," she said, adding "Hopefully I get to the do the jive the last week here. I look forward to coming back and I wish everybody good luck. It was an amazing experience. I just wish that it had lasted longer."
