Gabriel Will Not Be Part Of Hall Of Fame Celebrations
Peter Gabriel will not be part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York next month (Mar10) when his former band Genesis become members of the music museum.
The Sledgehammer singer has told Rock Hall president Joel Peresman not to expect him at the star-studded ceremony.
The news comes a month after Gabriel told Rolling Stone magazine he would not be joining his former bandmates onstage for the group's induction - and could not confirm he'd actually attend the event.
He said, "I'm trying to find a way to do it... If I can work it out, I'll go."
Gabriel revealed rehearsals for his upcoming tour might keep him from the Hall of Fame celebrations on 15 March (10).
