Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry has been released from jail after brawling with her fiance Olivier Martinez.
The Oscar-winning actress' former flame - who is also the father of her four-year-old daughter, Nahla - was released on $20,000 bail and charged with misdemeanour battery after getting into a fight at Halle's house on Thanksgiving (22.11.12).
Canadian model Gabriel reportedly suffered a broken rib and facial bruising during the fight, while Olivier - who previously dated Kylie Minogue - is thought to have injured his hand.
A commander of the Los Angeles Police Department told Us Weekly: ''The investigation is ongoing. The cause of the fight between the two men is unknown.''
Halle and Gabriel split in 2010 and have since been involved in a fierce custody battle over Nahla. The 'Cloud Atlas' star's legal plea to move to France with her daughter was recently blocked.
The fight reportedly broke out after the model arrived to drop off his daughter at Halle's house on Thursday morning and tried to speak to Olivier about the custody dispute, TMZ is reporting.
The argument allegedly turned physical when Oliver told him: ''We need to move on''.
