Futureheads Bounce Back With Own Record Label
The HOUNDS OF LOVE hitmakers left 679 Recordings in November (06) after becoming dissatisfied with the label's marketing strategies, but guitarist ROSS MILLARD has bounced back by launching his own distribution firm.
Millard's label Longest Mile will release new material from The Futureheads and will also provide an outlet for emerging British bands.
He says, "After doing the band for so many years you realise how the cogs of the (music industry) machine work. People are so naive about how it works - we're just trying to facilitate some younger bands."
