Red Hot Chili Peppers - Frusciante Granted Restraining Order
A screenwriter accused of harassing former Red Hot Chili Peppers star John Frusciante has been ordered to stay away from the rocker for two years.
The guitarist claims August Elizabeth Thomas approached him with a request to write a film script about him but has since sent the musician letters, visited his home in Los Angeles, and showed up at concerts where his wife Nicole Turley was performing.
Frusciante filed a legal request for a restraining order, and on Wednesday (24Aug11) a judge in L.A. granted the application, according to Tmz.com.
Thomas has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards (91 metres) away from Frusciante and his wife until 2013.
