Foxx: 'Gibson Has To Make Things Right'

JAMIE FOXX has served up a clear message to disgraced movie star MEL GIBSON after an expletive-laden phone rant aimed at his ex-girlfriend was leaked to the media - "You've got to make things right".

The Oscar winner admits he is among many Gibson fans who are outraged by the content of the taped audio, which features derogatory references to African-Americans.

Foxx tells news show Entertainment Tonight that, coupled with anti-Semitic comments Gibson has apologised for in the past, the movie star/director owes a lot of people an explanation.

The Ray star says, "It's tough when you hear those messages from Mel Gibson... It's tough for blacks, it's tough for Jews. I still love his work... It's just he has to make things right."

Namaste, Mel hasn't got to do anything! I salute you Mel! The one who is sending these tapes is the one who has made it public. So there is no way out now! But it should have been delt only by the police. Real abusive? Punishment! But why by the media? And the words he has spoken is for I think justifyeble anger followed by ramblings when one loses control. Mostley only when it has gotten not fair anymore. And when there is no way out of whatever kind of mess your inb. People in anger are standing up for themselves. They want to be right and out of the mess. No big deal! Mel is no real rascict or womenhater or out of control anger-freak. People do strange things in fights with lovers or ex-lovers. I have seen it before. But with alcholabuse it can become tragicly nasty. No more of that stuff for him. But Mel is the man. Only fame and big money causes much more problems! Allthough he has said to have started drinking at age 13. Pfffff, there's a big problem for him. For the rest....the media is punishing him for this. There is no escape from it worldwide now! So an interviuew on tv to set things straight. .......even when it is forced upon you in that world .... is indeed the wises thing to do. Mel is the man! I love most of his work. People who has known him for years are keeping still. Why is that? I salute you Mel! Ohm shante.
