Bryan Forbes - Forbes Honoured By Bfi

Veteran British director Bryan Forbes has been honoured with a prestigious Fellowship Award by officials at the British Film Institute.
The Whistle Down the Wind filmmaker was presented with the accolade in recognition of his career achievements as an actor, director, producer and screenwriter by Bfi Chairman Greg Dyke during a special ceremony in London on Tuesday (24Jan12).
Accepting the prize, Forbes said, "I would like to say to Greg Dyke and colleagues what a great honour the Bfi does to me, which I appreciate more than I can say. When you're 85, as I am, it's like as Bette Davis once said to me, 'Old age ain’t for sissies!'"
