The Foo Fighters are throwing their support behind Barack Obama's re-election campaign by hosting a fundraising gig in California for the U.S. president.
The band, led by frontman Dave Grohl, will put on a show in Holmby Hills, California on 15 February (12) to raise money for the Democrat's campaign ahead of the American election later this year (12).
The gig will be held at the home of soap opera writer/producer Bradley Bell and ticket prices will range from between $250 (£156) for general admission to $1,500 (£625), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Grohl has previously voiced his support for Obama in the 2012 election, saying, "He's got the toughest job on earth. I would hate to hand the administration over to another party that is just focused on corporations, greed and money. You know, I'm a fun, peace-loving guy, but sometimes the right wing gets a little too selfish."
