The soul singer racked up her 11th week on top of the countdown last Sunday (10Apr11) marking the most consecutive weeks at number one for a solo artist's studio album in U.K. history.
But Dave Grohl's band has put an end to the singer's run with their seventh studio album, Wasting Light, which has debuted at number one. Adele still dominates the top three, with 21 in second place followed by her debut album 19 in third.
Taking fourth spot is the latest compilation from hit U.S. TV show Glee and British newcomer Katy B rounds out the top five with On A Mission.
Meanwhile, in the U.K. singles chart, LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem debuted at number one, pushing Jennifer Lopez's On the Floor in to second position. Katy Perry (E.T.), Snoop Dogg (Sweat) and The Black Eyed Peas (Just Can't Get enough) also make the top five.
