The Killers' representatives have hit out at rumours frontman Brandon Flowers is going solo - insisting the rocker is too busy with his band duties to release his own material.
Recent internet reports have suggested the star is set to break away from his group and focus on a solo career.
But bosses at the Smile Like You Mean It hitmaker's record company, Island Records, have refuted the rumours, stating that Flowers is still tied up with the group's promotional activities.
A statement from the label reads, "Brandon (Flowers) is not leaving The Killers to 'go solo'. The band are on tour in South Africa at the moment, still busy promoting their third album Day & Age, and will be touring into spring 2010."
