Florence And The Machine Celebrate 'Lungs' 3 Year Anniversary At T In The Park

It was three years to the day yesterday (6th July) when Florence and the Machine released their debut album Lungs and to celebrate the anniversary of the breakthrough occasion, the band dedicated last nights set at T In The Park to the LP.

To honour the event, front woman Florence Welch dedicated much of the set-list to the album, playing tracks that had been absent from live performances for some years. Fan favourite but long-time absentee 'Between Two Lungs', was among the surprises, with Welch telling fans; "We weren't going to play this song. but since it's a special day."

'You've Got The Love', 'Dog Days Are Over' and 'Rabbit Heart' were among the other revisits, with the jubilance crowd also treated to a handful of songs from last years' Ceremonials album.

It seemed that three really was the lucky number for FatM, as the day not only served as the number of years since Lungs was release, but was also third appearance for the group at the Kinross-shire festival. Coincidentally, the BRIT-winning album has also sold 3-million albums so far (according to Wikipedia at least).
