Cult rockers FLIPPER are to release their first studio album in 15 years - and the new disc marks the recording debut of new band member KRIST NOVOSELIC. The former Nirvana bassist joined the veteran group, which hasn't released an album since 1993's American Grafishy, to play a handful of live dates in 2006. And now Flipper are putting the finishing touches to the currently-untitled disc, which they plan to unveil later this year (08). Drummer Steve DePace tells Billboard.com says, "The album sounds great - I think it's some of our best work ever. That also is an indicator for more future songs to come. We know we can write songs with Krist now that sound just like Flipper."
It joins '10 Cloverfield Lane' and the upcoming ghost story 'The Conjuring 2'.
