Justin Timberlake hosts Saturday Night Live for the fifth time
Justin Timberlake joined the pantheon of Saturday Night Live five-timers last night with, you guessed it, his fifth appearance on the show.
Fellow quintetians: Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Simon, Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd were all in attendance to honor Timberlake into the club. Characterized as smoking jacket-wearing prestige club members, the five-time gang did a few sketches to welcome JT.

"Mr. Simon, the honor's mine," Timberlake said. "I think it is," Simon responded. Martin followed, carrying a pipe, joking about Timberlake’s boy band routes. "I always figured if an 'N Sync member would make the Five-Timers Club, it would be Joey Fatone," Martin said.
Timberlake then went onto impersonate Elton John and sing "Candle in the Wind" to honour the dead of Hugo Chavez. Honour or joke about, anyway. "And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind, if a candle could pull out two pistols at a press conference," he sang.
Justin also took the opportunity to hit back at Kanye West, maybe, after the rapper insisted he wasn’t “feeling” Suit & Tie at a recent gig in London. He replaced some of the curse words in his song to say "My hits so sick/ I got rappers actin' dramatic." Followed by the elongated “but that’s alright”. Sounds like a diss-back to us!
