Fire Forces Cyrus To Abandon Gig
MILEY CYRUS' rocker father BILLY RAY has been forced to abandon a TV concert after fire broke out in the building next door.The Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker was due to record a performance for U.S. TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Hesperia, California on Friday (06Feb09) night.
But the concert had to be postponed when a massive blaze erupted in the Boulder Creek Ranch, close to the building where filming was due to take place, according to TMZ.com.
Producers of the ABC series evacuated all staff members and postponed the planned gig.
A Hesperia Fire Department spokesperson told the website that no one was injured in the incident.
