Film Stars Contribute To 'Green' Auction
A flight with Harrison Ford on his private jet, dinner with Chevy Chase, and a day out with Bill Clinton are among the lots up for sale in a charity auction.
Officials at Bid to Save the Earth launched their second annual online sale this week (beg14Mar11) to raise cash for four environmental organisations in the U.S.
Other items in the auction include a backstage meeting with Lady Gaga, a sailing trip with the Rockefeller family, and a flight to Paris, France to meet fashion king Karl Lagerfeld.
The online auction runs until 7 April (11) and there will be a live sale on 29 March (11) at Christie's in New York. The fundraising drive will benefit Oceana, Conservation International, the Central Park Conservancy, and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
