Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie: Emma Watson Signs On?
Rumours suggest Emma Watson - the star of the Harry Potter movies - is close to inking a deal to play the submissive Anastasia Steele in the forthcoming film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
According to the International Business Times, the 22-year-old is in talks to play the role, considered to be the hottest female part in Hollywood. Actresses are likely to have be frantically calling their agents in the hope of landing an audition for the role, though if Watson agrees to appear, it's likely that she'll be offered the part without the need for going up against others in an audition process. The battle for the part echoes the casting for 'The Hunger Games' in 2011, when Jennifer Lawrence eventually landed the role of 'Katniss Everdeen', quickly establishing her as one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood. Producer Michael De Luca - who is part of the casting for Fifty Shades - attempted to play down the rumours on Twitter, saying, "All of the rumors on FiftyShades are just that - rumors. No one has been cast in any role. We have to get a writer and director first". Though nobody is expected to have been cast yet, it would be a surprise if Hollywood stars had not already been sounded out to speak about the roles. Kristen Stewart and Scarlett Johansson are also likely to be in the running for the part of Anastasia.
The role of Mr Christian Grey himself is likely to be a straight battle between Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling and MICHAEL FASSBENDER.
