Could Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson be reunited on screen once more? Fans have already started speculating over who would play the lead roles in the forthcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey. The raunchy book on which the movie will be based was itself based on the Twilight trilogy, starring Stewart and Pattinson. R-Patz's name has already been bandied about as a likely candidate for the role of Christian Grey and Kristen's a clear favorite for the role of Anastasia Steele.
Other names thrown into the mix as potential leading ladies include the Mirror, Mirror star Lily Collins who would certainly be the right age to play the part, as well as Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel. In the book, Ana is described as "a pale, brown haired girl with blue eyes too big for her face" and it's thought that fans will be expecting someone that can fill the part physically, as well as talent-wise. "The trickiest part of all may be staying true to the book and finding an actress who can convey youth and innocence, as well as the depth of experience necessary to grow with the character," said Lisa Parker of fiftyshadesfilm.com.
The debate over who's going to play Christian is a "heated" one, according to a report from MTV News. Robert Pattinson may be a favorite for the lead but if it was going to work then surely Stewart would be a prerequisite to play opposite him. Ian Somerhalder has also been at the forefront of everyone's minds, so if he does want the role, Pattinson may have a fight on his hands.
