BRYAN FERRY has slammed the British government over his son's recent stint in prison - insisting the 27 year old was "unlawfully stitched-up".
Otis Ferry was arrested in September 2008 amid allegations he tried to discredit a witness during a robbery and assault case.
He was kept behind bars until he was granted bail in January (09) and less than two months later (Mar09) the charges were dropped, with prosecutors citing a lack of evidence.
The Roxy Music star was outraged by the decision to keep his son in custody for four months, and he blames British politicians - alleging Otis was treated differently because of his allegiance to pro foxhunting groups.
Ferry says, "I don't like the way the present government has done things, most of all putting my son in prison for four and a half months, totally unlawfully... and that's not just my opinion; judges, all sorts, have said it was a stitch-up. It was politically motivated. The poor lad just wants to live the traditional country life."

| Of course he was stiched up, this Government wanted to make something out of nothing and this locking up of Otis was nothing to do with the protest made in the House of Commons it was an alleged assault which could not be proved, the Police went totally overboard about it which was very wrong. He protested about something that he loves doing and the biggots in Parliment were wanting to make a change in rural lifestyle mainly to have a dig at the so called Toffs, what a c**k up that was. Whether one approves of hunting or not is the individuals choice but to force through a law like this Ban by the mis use of the Parliment act was a farce, foxes are now being killed in far worse ways than ever before but the negative comments made are by people who have never taken the touble to find out. | ||

| Otis Ferry is a thug there is no two ways about it, and if he or his daddy think that he shouldn't be treated as a criminal even though he is a criminal then they are even more stupid than they look. Did he storm into parliament by mistake as well? He's just swollen headed trash, him and his ilk, he should have been in goal for longer. | ||

| This little thug carries out a raid on parliament and he's been 'stitched up'?! Who do these people think they are? Does being the sad spawn of rock royalty allow you to behave like a terrorist? I've never heard of anyone as obsessed with killing defenseless animals as Otis Ferry. This is the kid who claims he would rather die than give up hunting. Sounds like a future serial killer in waiting. | ||
