Fergie - Fergie Swore When She Realised She Was Pregnant

The singer's actor husband Josh Duhamel admits the baby news took them by surprise and the mum-to-be let slip an expletive as she tried to wrap her head around the thought of becoming a first-time parent.

The Transformers hunk tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "She was the one when we first found out that was like, 'This s**t just got real.' Those were the first words out of her mouth."

Fergie and Duhamel took to their Twitter.com accounts to announce their big news last week (18Feb13) and the 40 year old cannot wait for fatherhood because he feels sure his folks gave him just what he needs to be the perfect dad.

He says, "I'm not 24, I've got some life experience that I think I can impart. My mother was the disciplinarian and my father was more of a free spirit. Hopefully I'm somewhere in between."
