Feeder's Hirose Almost Blinded By Tv Stunt

FEEDER bassist TAKA HIROSE narrowly escaped losing his sight after he was smacked in the face with shards of his guitar.
The British rockers were filming a TV advert for U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 last week (ends18Jul08), when they were asked to smash up their instruments for the promo.
According to website Gigwise.com, the stunt didn't go quite to plan and Hirose was hit in the face by the broken pieces of guitar.
He was treated by medics for cuts on set and was briefly admitted to a local hospital, where he was discharged in time for the band to fly out to Japan, where they are due to play at the Fuji Rocks Festival this weekend (25-27Jul08).
