Feeder Used Music To Cope
The FEELING A MOMENT hitmaker refused to seek professional help to deal with his friend's tragic death, but he did agree to speak to a priest who helped him cope with his pain.
He says, "I think locking myself away in a studio for three or four weeks helped me personally. It took my mind off things and let me put everything going through my mind into something positive which was music.
"I did see a good friend of my dad's who was a priest. I'm not religious or anything, but talking to him helped. He broke things down in a very simple way and said that when you lose a drummer it's like losing a heartbeat. I've used that a lot to describe how I felt."
