Fearne Cotton - Fearne Cotton, 30, Pregnant With Baby No.1

Congratulations to Radio 1 Dj and general ubiquitous presence Fearne Cotton, after she revealed over social networking site Twitter that she was pregnant with hers and other half Jesse Wood's first child! The excitable presenter told her 3.5 million followers "Jesse and I have some news!!!!!" before giving the big reveal "Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby."
Cotton did not reveal how far along with the pregnancy she was, but continued Tweeting by saying "We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival." But for one letter it could've been Cotton Wools. Cotton Wools, brilliant eh.
Anyway, she was still full of beans as she took to her radio show this morning (August 9th) and spoke to her listeners about the announcement. "I'm over the moon. I'm very happy," she said, before admitting it had been hard to keep the news in when she first found. "I sighed a big sigh of relief now I'm able to tell people. I was really overwhelmed with all the messages yesterday" she enthused. A spokesperson for Radio 1 said: "We couldn't be happier for Fearne and Jesse following the news of their pregnancy. A decision on Fearne's maternity cover will be taken in due course." Hopefully she'll be given plenty of time off, it's the least she deserves.

Fearne Cotton, Chris Evans To Host Inaugural BBC Music Awards As Part Of Wide-Reaching Broadcasting Strategy 4246903 News

The BBC is launching a brand new music awards show with Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans (the Radio 2 presenter) as the inaugural hosts. The awards will be BBC’s biggest musical event after Glastonbury and are intended to unite BBC One, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and culminate in a big live event this coming winter.

Fearne Cotton is set to host the brand new award show in December.

The award show will be held on December 11 at Earl’s Court in London, where the best British artist and international artist awards, as chosen by a panel of BBC presenters and producers will be awarded the new honor. The song of the year winner will be determined by viewers and listeners, adding an interactive component to the show.

The broader music strategy will include cross-media programming, with radio, TV and digital content, geared toward the support of “talent including the introduction of classical music to UK primary schools.”

The new programming will include a wide range of specials on music history and films profiling iconic acts, like Country Legends: Nashville and Beyond, set to air on BBC Four and Radio 2, or Oh You Pretty Things! (BBC Four and BBC Radio 6 Music), a three-part series examining the relationship between British rock and pop music and fashion.

The full range of programming is still in development, but is slated to bring together the various BBC platforms like never before.

Ronnie Wood's wife gets on with ex Jo 3897449 News

Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo ''gets on really well'' with his new spouse.

The Rolling Stones rocker married Sally Wood (nee Humphreys) in December 2012 and his ex Jo - whom he divorced in 2009 - is glad they are all friendly and came together to celebrate the 30th birthday of Tyrone Wood - Ronnie and Jo's youngest son.

Jo said: ''When I asked Ronnie and Sally to come, I asked Sally if she wouldn't mind making a lion [cake] for Tryone's star sign, Leo.

''I knew she made delicious cakes - it was the most beautiful cake. She asked me for baby pics of Ty to put on cup cakes too.

''It was really lovely, everyone being together. Everyone gets on really well, so it was lovely to have them all there.''

Tyrone - who turned 30 in August, but has only just got around to having a party - also had a surprise of his own, as he introduced his new girlfriend, American actress Elizabeth Whitson, at the party, much to the delight of Jo, 58.

She added to the new UK issue of HELLO! magazine: ''I had worried he was turning 30 and he would be my single Casanova forever, but I've never seen him like this with a girl, she's definitely 'The One'. He's fallen madly in love with her and it was the first time some of his friends had met her.

''I was worried the party might have scared her off ... I'm already planning the wedding.''

Tyrone's party took place at Hoxton Arches in London, and saw him celebrate with his mother and father, sister Leah, brother Jesse and his girlfriend, radio DJ Fearne Cotton, half-brother Jamie and model Poppy Delevingne.

Fearne Cotton Would be Covered in Tattoos If It Wasn't For TV 3845643 News

Fearne Cotton’s back after doing the whole mum thing. She still has to do the whole mum thing for another 18 years+, but she’s mixing up the mum thing and the DJ thing. And now she’s back, she’s talking to the press, but not about her new bundle of joy – about her tattoos…

Fearne CottonFearne Cotton arrives for work

"There may be one or two tattoos I regret now that I have the wisdom to know not to put certain things on your body. But it’s all beautiful art. A Mark Mahoney is like a Picasso. He does Johnny Depp and me," explained Cotton to the Daily Mail.

"Seriously, if I wasn’t on TV I’d have tattoos all over my whole body. I would go mental. I’m addicted to tattoos. I love the look, the process, the feeling of, “Yes! I didn’t pass out, I’ve just achieved something,”’ she added."[One of them] covers most of my back at the bottom and it’s a ‘50s pin-up mermaid, lovely boobs, beautiful."

For Fearne, though, her tattoos have made her aware of the stereotyping they attract. "I was in the pool at the gym and this little girl pointed at my tattoos and shouted: “Mum, why’s that woman got face paint on?" Then, as I was leaving, the manager told me a woman complained about me last week, saying: 'There’s a semi-naked woman exposing herself and her tattoos to everyone!' Do tattoos make me a drug addict? It’s bizarre!"

Cotton was back to work this morning, co-hosting the Breakfast Show on Radio One alongside Nick Grimshaw. The 32-year-old DJ went on maternity leave on Christmas Eve last year. She has returned to star in the ITV comedy panel show, Celebrity Juice alongside Holly Willoughby.

Fearne Cotton Marks ‘Celebrity Juice’ Return With Celebratory Twerk & A Toe Lick 3842388 News

Celebrity Juice squeezed its way back on to television screens last night (29th Aug) and the Keith Lemon-hosted comedy panel show welcomed back its two team captains, Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, for a whole new series of the show thrice voted the 'Worst British TV Panel Show' by the Comedy Guide.

Fearne Has Caught The Twerking Bug.

Fearne Cotton, the bouncy-haired radio star of Radio 1, tweeted excitedly before the show aired and promised her fans plenty of bum shaking actions with stills from the new series' first episode. Inspired by singer Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs performance last Sunday, Cotton showed Juice viewers her interpretation of Miley's now-notorious twerk move, whereby a dancer's rear jiggles about when their hips are shaken.

Lemon asked her to demonstrate why Miley is such a hot topic and Fearne took to the floor to throw some shapes à la Miley. Fearne fans will recall the last time a booty-shaking routine received such attention - in Beyoncé's 'Crazy In Love' days - when the skinny TV star tried to copy the same move on Top of the Pops with hilarious results.

The show also ran a new competition where contestants - this week's were Top Boy's Ashley Walters and TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh - had to try some exotic new food in an I'm A Celebrity... style challenge whilst blindfolded. But the strange food wasn't anything even remotely edible as it emerged that the contestants had been tricked into licking Keith and Fearne's shoe-fresh feet. The challenge was completely foul for the disgusted guests and for the giggling Lemon and Cotton who writhe around laughing as their toes are tickled by Lucy and Ashley's tongues.

The other guests of the evening included boxer Amir Khan and Embarrassing Bodies presenter, Christian Jessen. We wonder how Jessen, who is accustomed to coming into close contact with plenty of putrid maladies, would have fared had he been the guest in the blindfold challenge. With his eyes closed, he would have probably diagnosed Lemon with athlete's foot and Cotton with a bunion!

Looking fabulously fashionable in a green, flowery jumpsuit, Fearne marked her return to the show in style, after having taken some time off due to being on maternity leave. During the filming of the ninth series, model Kelly Brook stepped in to captain her team instead whilst Fearne gave birth to her son in February.

Keith Lemon Bans Katie Price From Celebrity Juice Over Kelly Brook Remark? 3565432 News

Keith Lemon, aka Leigh Francis, says Katie Price will "never" appear on his ITV2 show Celebrity Juice again after she branded new team captain Kelly Brook a "heifer' - a derogatory term for a large female, also a term for a cow. Keith, 39, told the Reveal magazine, "Katie is never coming back on Celebrity Juice. She was rubbish when she came on here before. She was wooden and didn't relax and thought we were trying to take the p*ss. We were, but that's the point of the show."

Katie, 34, fell out with fellow British model Kelly, 33, after calling her a "heifer" in her Sun column. "You're a heifer, Kelly, but still a hot one," adding, "Every mum should make her daughter look at the recent set of pictures that show Kelly modelling her latest New Look swimwear range. They don't seem to be airbrushed and I'm Flabbergasted to see how big Kelly really is." Price has since apologised for the remarks, though it seems it's too little too late as far as Celebrity Juice goes.

Price has appeared on the comedy panel show twice, once in 2010 when Fearne Cotton was still on the panel, and another time late last year when Keith Lemon congratulated her for being attracted to him for 17 years.

Kelly Brook took over as team captain from Cotton for the new series after the Radio 1 DJ gave birth to her first child.

You've Got The God-Factor: Kye Sones Will Be Godfather To Fearne Cotton's Baby Rex 3552925 News

Kye Sones may have missed out on taking part in the X Factor tour but the X Factor reject got lucky elsewhere in life, as his life-long pal Fearne Cotton has asked him to be godfather to her new-born son, Rex. According to The Mirror, Kye and Fearne have been mates since they were 11 and he revealed the cute way in which Fearne broke the news to him.

“I got a text from Fearne, with a picture of Rex,” said Kye. “It said ‘I love you so much already, I want you to be my godfather.’” He doesn’t seem entirely sure of what he’s getting himself in for, mind you, as he admitted “I don't know what exactly a godfather does but I'm definitely up for doing it. Rex is the cutest baby ever." Oh, well, as long as the baby’s cute, all that moral guidance stuff should be a walk in the park, huh, Kye? No word on who else Miss Cotton and her beau Jesse Wood are planning on having as godparents but we reckon Holly Willoughby’s a good bet. She and Fearne have been thick as thieves for years. Of course, when your grandfather is a Rolling Stone (Ronnie Wood, to be precise), we can’t help but think that having Kye Sones as a godparent is going to something of a let-down. Poor Rex.

Despite being really popular on X Factor (know, we can’t quite fathom why, either…) Kye Sones was not included in the high profile X Factor tour that the winners embark on every year.
