Fatboy Slim - Fatboy Slim buys new mansion
Fatboy Slim and his wife Zoe Ball have splashed out and bought Heather Mills' mansion, which is next door to their existing home
Fatboy Slim has purchased a new beachfront home from Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife.
The DJ - whose real name is Norman Cook - and his wife Zoe Ball have snapped up Heather Mills' mansion for £2.75 million ($4.47 million), which is reportedly two houses away from their existing home in Hove, East Sussex.
A source told the MailOnline that the 44-year-old blonde - who shares daughter Beatrice, nine, with her legendary musician ex - decided to sell the property because she is spending so much time in Austria, where she is training to win a place on the Great Britain Paralympic team for the 2014 Winter Games in Russia.
The insider said: ''Paul and Heather have total split custody of Beatrice. Paul will spend a week in the US and then come home to see Beatrice and then fly back again. Her home is in the UK. Heather does the same, she splits her time now between Austria and the UK.''
The plush property boasts a string of other celebrity neighbours including singer Adele and British comedian David Walliams.
Fatboy Slim previously revealed he stole a music stand from Sir Paul McCartney's dustbin when the Beatles legend and Heather lived next door.
He said: ''He was my neighbour and when he moved out, it was in a skip with his other possessions, so I thought it was worth keeping.''
The 'Rockafeller Skank' producer said Paul was a ''fantastic'' neighbour, though he found it surreal whenever he called round to visit.
