Fatboy Slim Beach Bash Given Thumbs Up
LATEST: Superstar DJ Fatboy Slim has been given permission to hold a beach party in England's Brighton beach for 20,000 residents of the city.
The Big Beach Boutique will be the second time the PRAISE YOU hitmaker has held a bash in his home town.
But it has taken some effort to convince the local council to approve the 31 December (06) performance. His last gig there in July 2002 attracted 250,000 revellers, overwhelming organisers and the police and bringing chaos to the city.
This time around only 20,000 residents of Brighton will be allowed to attend the ticket-only event - although tickets have already appeared on auction site eBay.
