Fat Mike Defends Sick Urine Stunt

The NoFX bassist played a solo set as his alter ego Cokie the Clown at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas last week (begs15Mar10) and appeared to treat fans to a few rounds of Patron during his show, downing a couple himself, according to Pinpoint Music.

But his willing participants were in for a shock when he then aired a short video showing him urinating into a bottle of tequila - which was then served to the audience.

Burkett is now facing the wrath of his devotees - but he has no regrets and insists he checked out the legality of the stunt before he did it.

He tells TMZ.com, "I confirmed that urine was not classified as a biohazard waste and not subject to the risks of legal ramifications of blood, semen, or faeces."

Burkett is now reportedly facing an investigation by officials at the Austin Health Department, who admitted they had no prior knowledge of the incident.
