Talib Kweli - Fascinating Fact: 3319563

Hip-hop icon Talib Kweli is to be honoured for his career achievements by New York's Brooklyn Music School. The I Try hitmaker will be one of three special guests at the community institution's 100th anniversary celebrations, where the Brooklyn native will be feted alongside jazz bassist Bill Lee and singer Barbara King. The 1 November (12) event will double as a fundraiser to boost donations for the non-profit performing arts school.
