The woman who inspired iconic character SYBIL FAWLTY in 1970s British sitcom FAWLTY TOWERS has died, aged 95. Beatrice Sinclair, whose husband Donald inspired John Cleese's manic hotelier Basil Fawlty in the comedy, passed away on Monday (13Sep10).
