Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle returned to her alma mater on Friday (06Jul12) to receive an honorary doctorate from officials at Edinburgh's Queen Margaret University in her native Scotland. The star donned the traditional cap and gown for the graduation ceremony and beamed with delight as she was presented with the scroll. She had previously studied for a certificate in care at the school.
