John Travolta's appearance at the 40th American Film Institute Life Achievement Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night (07Jun12) marked his first time back in the spotlight since allegations of sexual abuse hit headlines last month (May12). The lawsuits, filed against the married actor by two male masseurs, were slammed by the star's attorney and subsequently dropped.
