Kanye West will debut his latest short film, Cruel Summer, at the Cannes Film Festival next week (23May12). Announcing the screening on Friday (18May12), the rapper revealed the new venture is "a fusion of short film and art installation". West has previously directed long-form music videos for his tracks, including the ambitious Runaway.
