An Andy Warhol portrait of Elvis Presley sold for a massive $37 million (£23.1 million) at a New York auction on Wednesday (09May12). The silkscreen painting, dubbed Double Elvis (Ferus Type) and depicting the King as a cowboy, went under the hammer at auction house Sotheby's.
