DAME Helen Mirren is to receive America's prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at a ceremony next month (7Dec10). The honour is bestowed on women who have built a career in entertainment and made a significant contribution to society. Previous winners include Halle Berry, Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster and Glenn Close.
