Farrah Fawcett left most of her £3.65 million fortune to her son Redmond.

The late 'Charlie's Angels' star - who died last month following a battle against cancer - has left the bulk of her estate to the troubled 24 year old in a bid to help him get over his drug and alcohol addictions.

A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Farrah appointed two trustees to make sure the money supports her son's journey into sobriety rather than giving him the means to destroy himself. Redmond's inheritance will be tightly controlled."

Redmond is currently in a Los Angeles prison for drug offences but was allowed to leave California's Pitchness Detention Center, where he was being treated for drug addiction, to attend his mother's funeral on June 30.

Meanwhile, it has emerged the late actress, who was 62 when she died on June 25, has not left her long-term partner Ryan O'Neal anything in the document drafted in 2007.

Ryan - who is Redmond's father - and Farrah's 15-year relationship ended in 1997 but the pair reunited in 2006 shortly after she was diagnosed with the illness.

The will is reportedly due to be released in the next two weeks.

Last week Ryan, 68, promised he would do all he could to help their son recover from his problems.

He said: "I loved Farrah so very, very much. Redmond is in the fight of his life but is doing well. I will do everything that is in my power to honour her memory and to protect our son."
