Thank you jitendra94 for helping our campaign, i too, wrote 1,000 letters to the school to do research and find out the truth and not take the media word.....so now they finally saw the light! the truth! what an innocent man MICHAEL JACKSON IS..........and I thank God for all the fans who believe in MICHAEL JACKSON, Our Angel In Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!

I was one of the fans who in each page possible ask for the name of michael to be reinstalled in the school I am glad about all those signatures collected and I hope we get his name honored again. God bless all.

The idea of presuming innocence was destroyed by the O.J. Simpson trial fiasco, the Robert Blake trial, etc. Now any high profile celebrities (specifically black ones) who go on trial are considered guilty before they've even stepped into a court room. Apparently presumed innocence is only afforded to non-famous, people who aren't rich. It's really misguided.

The school board need to say they are sorry to the Jackson family...............To Katherine the mother of MICHAEL JACKSON, they need to tell her how bad they feel that they did this thing boarding up MICHAEL JACKSON'S name........SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

UncoverMJsname, initiated a facebook account and then HelpUncoverMJXx twitter account ... They have been granted a allotted time to speak at the next school board meeting, October 19th 2010. They will be allowed a certain amount of time to relate the importance of removing the plyboards from the Gardner Elem School Auditorium that cover the name of our beloved Michael Jackson. This is their chance to appeal to Superintendent, Ramone Cortines and make him understand how this injustice must end. The continued boarding up of Michael Jackson defies our country's ideals and this point needs to be brought home. It should NEVER have been boarded up based on false allegations.In this and all elementary schools, the children are taught about our supposed ideals in America. They are taught about civic duty, civic pride and hopefully about civil rights. What does our country present as a basic civil right? Presumed Innocence! We have the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, in a court of law by a jury of our peers and this is a fundamental right prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, for ALL citizens. This is what we teach our children, so therefore we must abide by it.If they do not restore Michael Jackson’s name to the auditorium they are teaching the children that basic civil liberties do not exist, or that they only apply to some but not ALL. Why is Michael Jackson being denied this basic fundamental right? He was unfairly accused, he withstood a 5 month long trial by jury and in the end 14 Not Guilty verdicts where handed down and he walked out of that courtroom a free and INNOCENT man. Michael Jackson was investigated by the FBI, extensively and when asked by the DA, Tom Sneddon if they could help him, they said “NO” … If the FBI had ANY evidence against Michael Jackson, they surely would have pounced on the chance to help convict him of such a heinous crime. It is clear that there was NO evidence; NONE. Tom Mesereau has said as much many times.The school, amid 2003 false allegation boarded up Michael’s name and now the must UNCOVER it or STOP teaching the Constitutional rights afforded to all of us.In the 2005 trial, Tom Mesereau, Michael Jackson’s attorney PROVED that the State’s case was a losing one as they had no credible witnesses, tainted evidence and it was run by a DA that let his own illogical obsession fuel his unnatural desire to convict this innocent and gentle human being. The case should have NEVER been brought and it cost the taxpayers 4 million dollars. Four million dollars was used to falsely accused an innocent man. Michael Jackson was prejudged by the mass media as being guilty. They didn’t care or were too lazy to actually ‘report’ on the trial. Rather they speculated and reiterated the salacious allegations in an attempt to sway public opinion. The school preemptively judged Michael Jackson based on this overtly negative and speculative sensationalized headlines...NOW that the truth has been revealed, justice must be done.
