Veteran British entertainer Jess Conrad was given a shock during a show at the weekend (16-17Aug14) when an audience member suffered a heart attack.
The actor/singer was performing at the Pavilion Theatre in Norfolk, England on Saturday (16Aug14) when a man in the front row collapsed and was carried out of the auditorium by medics.
Conrad tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "It certainly was (a night to remember). A man in the front row had a heart attack and was carried out. I sang Halfway to Paradise, fearing he'd already be there."
The singer later made a few calls to check on the fan's condition, and was relieved to hear he would make a recovery.
He adds, "I rang today and he's Ok."
