Nate Dogg - Family Dispute Over Nate Dogg's Estate
Nate Dogg's kids are challenging their grandmother and stepmother's plans to take over the late rapper's estate.
The hip-hop star, real name Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, did not have a will when he died last year (11) so his wife Latoya took charge of his finances.
In legals papers filed this month (Aug12), the widow is now requesting the rapper's mother aids her.
His kids, who asked for an attorney named Alex Borden to be given the job of administrating the estate instead of their stepmother, have now challenged her again, claiming their grandmother does not have their best interests at heart.
Nate Dogg's daughter Auncrane Hale tells Tmz.com her stepmother was a no-show at her father's funeral.
A judge has yet to rule on the family dispute.
