Lady Gaga - 'Fame' Is Slutty: Lady Gaga's Bizarre New Perfume, Launched

"Slutty" isn't something that most women tend to embrace, if they can help it. Lady Gaga isn't 'most women' though and in an interview with 'Good Morning America' she said that "slutty" was exactly what she was going for with her new perfume, which she has named 'Fame.' "I wanted it to be a very slutty perfume," said Gaga. "Because that is sort of the addictive nature of fame that it is, it is seductive."

Gaga went on to explain to the Good Morning America anchor Lara Spencer that she wanted a fragrance that was equally as suitable for a global pop star as it was for your everyday day-woman. 'Fame' apparently is intended for "not only just, you know, a young girl like me, but for any woman that wants to go home to their husband and lay down and feel like a queen." We're not sure that there are any young girls like you, Mother Monster, but we think we know what you're getting at, here. As with most things that Lady Gaga turns her hand to, her perfume is somewhat unusual, in that it is a black eau de parfum, which turns clear when it is spritzed onto the skin.

Last year, Gaga revealed that the fragrance will have "notes of blood and semen" in it. Sounds pretty freaky but we expect it'll be a big seller. Gaga's launch of the fragrance at New York Fashion Week was certainly kept her and her new product in the headlines, as it involved her sleeping for 45 minutes, whilst guests at the lavish do were invited to poke the sleeping beauty whilst she napped. Well, it's different, we'll give her that!
