Embattled R&B singer Houston has escaped jail time following his arrest for driving under the influence last year (12).
The I Like That star, who gouged his own eye out during an infamous meltdown in 2005, was pulled over by police near Malibu, California after he was spotted driving erratically.
Cops detected the smell of marijuana coming from his vehicle and took him into custody for Dui.
However, the charge was subsequently reduced to a minor traffic infraction and the $100 (£62.50) penalty for the count has since been suspended, allowing 29-year-old Houston to walk away without any formal punishment, according to Tmz.com.
No reason has been given for the reduced charge.
