Eve named her new album after her lips.
The 34-year-old rapper has just released her fourth studio LP 'Lip Lock' and admits her kissable features encouraged the name of the record because she wanted something ''fun'' and flirty that rolled off the tongue.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Eve said: ''I actually came up with the name [of the album] a few years ago. I decided to keep it because I like words that you can play around with.
''My lips are my favourite features on me and because I'm a lyricist, I say I'm lyrically locking the game down because 'Lip Lock' is like kisses and it was a fun name.''
Eve - who has returned to the music scene for the first time in 11 years - says her fans are ecstatic to see her back strutting her stuff and insists she dismisses the negative comments thrown her way, instead focusing her attention on her core fan base.
She explained: ''It's [the hype] been good from my core fans. A lot of people have just been like, 'hey', they're all happy that I'm back, happy to see me back finally.''
''There are a lot of haters out there but I don't really pay attention to that. I'm paying attention to the people who actually want to see me back.''
Eve is going on Gumball 3000 road trip, which is now in its 15th year and launches in Copenhagen, on Sunday 19th May.
